I have been working in the TV and film industry for the last 8 years. Throughout this time, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, gaining invaluable experience and honing my skills in various aspects of production.

I have been gaffering for the past 4 years. During this period, I have developed a deep understanding of lighting and its impact on storytelling, which has allowed me to contribute effectively to the visual aesthetics of numerous projects.

Favourite Aspect of the Job:

My favourite aspect of gaffering is helping Directors and DOPs realize their vision for a project. I enjoy utilizing the creative and practical skills I’ve learned throughout my career to achieve the desired look, even when faced with constraints. The process of translating a conceptual visual idea into reality through lighting is incredibly rewarding, and I thrive on the collaborative effort required to bring a story to life visually.

Future Aspirations:

Going forward, I aspire to continue gaffering for both short and long-form projects. Each format presents distinct challenges and learning opportunities. I am particularly interested in exploring new technologies and techniques in lighting to further enhance my craft and contribute to groundbreaking visual storytelling..
