Industry Experience:
With two years of experience in the film industry, I’m at the start of my journey as a gaffer, constantly learning, adapting, and pushing myself on every project.
Gaffering Experience:
In just two years, I’ve had the opportunity to gaffer two feature films, giving me valuable experience in problem-solving on set, thinking on my feet, and adapting to ever-changing production needs. These projects have helped me develop a sharp eye for lighting setups, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Alongside feature films, I’ve worked extensively across short-form content, including music videos, commercials, corporate shoots, and short films—each one presenting new challenge that demands quick thinking and creative solutions.
Directors of Photography Collaborated With:
I’ve had the pleasure of working with an incredible range of Directors of Photography, including:
Hamish Saks, Scarlett Gardner, Carmen Pellon Brussosa, Tunji Akinsehinwa, Cassius Kane, John Letsinger, Steven Wyatt
I’m always looking forward to expanding my network, collaborating with new DOPs, and growing my experience on set.
Filming Sectors & Notable Work:
Feature Films
I’ve had the opportunity to work as gaffer on two features for Dark Rift Horror:
Dead Reset (post-production)
How To Kill Monsters (2024) – Winner of Best Feature at Dead Northern
Music Videos
Master Peace – Shangaladang
The Kooks x lovelytheband – Jeanie
Mackenzy Mackay – Call Me Yours
Afrikan Boy – DR VOO
Commercial & Corporate Work
Sky TV – Atomic Interviews
Stylist x Bupa
Beyond traditional film and video work, I’ve also been involved in photography projects incorporating both flash and continuous lighting, giving me a unique perspective on how to craft images through light.
Favourite Aspect of the Job:
I love the social aspect of filmmaking—meeting new people, building strong working relationships, and collaborating with crews that bring energy and passion to set.
Within the lighting department, I enjoy the blend of physical work and creative problem-solving, keeping both my body and mind engaged throughout the day. No two jobs are ever the same, and adapting to different locations, schedules, and creative visions is a challenge I thrive on.
For me, lighting is more than just exposure—it’s about shaping emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling. Helping brings a director and DOP’s vision to life through light is what excites me the most.
Future Aspirations:
My goal is to work on more narrative projects, as my passion for film lies in storytelling. Short films and feature films allow for deep collaboration and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the crew, which is something I find incredibly rewarding.
I also want to gain experience on bigger budget commercials and music videos, as they provide a space for bold, visually striking work that can push creative boundaries.
Qualifications:
