Industry Experience:
I have been active in the film and television industry since 2018, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects. My journey began with entry-level positions that allowed me to gain foundational knowledge and skills. Over the years, I have progressively taken on more challenging roles, which have enriched my understanding of the industry and honed my technical expertise.
Gaffering Experience:
With over a year of dedicated gaffering experience, I have developed a keen eye for lighting and an understanding of its crucial role in storytelling. My hands-on experience has included working on numerous short films, commercials, and fashion shoots, where I’ve been responsible for setting up and managing lighting equipment, ensuring optimal illumination for each scene. This role has not only expanded my technical skills but also my ability to collaborate effectively with other crew members, particularly Directors of Photography, to achieve the desired visual outcomes.

My gaffering expertise primarily lies in short-form projects such as short films, commercials, and fashion shoots. I appreciate these formats for their quick turnarounds and diverse setups, which have made me highly adaptable. This adaptability has enabled me to work with a wide range of equipment, from LEDs to Tungstens, and in various conditions.
Favourite Aspect of the Job:
I am passionate about translating the motivation behind the lighting into the visual narrative. It is always a joy to explore different lighting techniques to develop a unique style and language. I enjoy collaborating with DoPs to create and implement these techniques, ensuring the project effectively captures a story or conveys a message.
Future Aspirations:
Looking ahead, I aim to continue working in short-form formats, particularly commercials and short films, to further hone my skills as a gaffer.
